Grid connection: the CRE approves Enedis's new pricing schedule

On 3 August 2026, the French Energy Regulatory Commission approved the new pricing schedule for connection works on the public electricity distribution grids operated by Enedis.
The operator had submitted its proposal by letter dated 3 July 2026, followed by a corrective referral on 16 July. The schedule was the subject of a consultation with the Electricity Distribution Grid Users Committee from 23 April to 22 May 2026.
The new schedule incorporates an update of price levels, assessed by Enedis on the basis of an analysis of costs observed over the 2023-2024 period. It is based on an update of Enedis's procurement prices and on structural changes reflecting the variability of the services provided.
The text also introduces changes in scope and new simplified cost formulas. The stated aim is greater clarity and transparency for users, by reducing the number of case-by-case quotations.
The CRE considers that the schedule correctly reflects the costs borne by the grid operator and improves the transparency of connection prices.
